I updated windows and graphics drivers, cleared temp files and standby memory, followed youtube guides how to optimize games, was monitoring CPU and GPU temperatures, made the ultra performance power plan, tweaked Nvidia control panels into high performance, and did a bunch of other fixes that didn't Hi, so I built my pc a year ago and noticed drops in fps and stuttering and random game crashes and sometimes even system crashes, I built in a mini case with high spec gear, I relocated my pc to a bigger case, more airflow and a bigger psu, and now im not getting any stuttering or random crashes. disable automatic windows updates and manually check at least once a day. Stutter completely disappears when Windows Basic Display driver is used, as well as with the driver provided by Windows Update. It isn't just in games, it is in windows itself.
